1. About DiveDeck

DiveDeck is a free diving resource platform operated by SignalWorks. Our tools, including Relight, require no account and no payment. Relight runs entirely in your browser — your photos are never uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly download your corrected image and the quality gate is passed (see section 4).

2. Using the tools

You may use DiveDeck tools for personal or commercial purposes at no cost. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or automate requests to our tools. You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to use.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of any photos you upload. By ticking the terms checkbox and downloading your corrected image, you grant DiveDeck and SignalWorks a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, store, and publish the original and corrected versions of your uploaded image without attribution or compensation. You confirm that you own the rights to any content you upload, or have the necessary permissions to grant this licence.

This licence applies only to images that pass our quality gate (see section 4). Images that do not pass the quality gate are processed in your browser only and are never stored by us.

4. Quality gating and storage

After you download your corrected image, our tools silently check whether the image meets our media library standards — minimum resolution of 1920×1080px, valid image format, and underwater colour profile. Images that pass this check are stored in our secure cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) along with extracted metadata (EXIF data including GPS coordinates and camera information where present). Images that do not pass are not stored.

A one-way anonymised hash derived from your browser session is stored alongside the image for deduplication purposes. This hash cannot be used to identify you personally.

5. No cookies, no tracking

DiveDeck does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. We use privacy-first analytics (Umami) which collects no personally identifiable information and sets no cookies. There is nothing to opt out of.

7. Availability

DiveDeck tools are provided free of charge on an as-is basis. We make no guarantees about uptime, accuracy of correction algorithms, or fitness for any particular purpose. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any service at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiveDeck and SignalWorks shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of our platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of DiveDeck after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
